ABOUT PACE

Pace Machine & Tool is an aerospace manufacturing company specializing in precision tooling, gaging, fixturing, and parts manufacturing, including manual and CNC parts production runs. Pace has consistently produced quality parts since 1978.

Our management team is committed to constant improvement in quality and efficiency in utilizing the AS9100D Quality System as a tool in our day to day operations. While also working to implement the necessary skills and equipment in keeping up with our customer’s technical needs and requirements.

Pace Machine will consistently provide our customers with products that meet or exceed their requirements and expectations. We continually strive to produce quality parts while meeting the customer’s deadlines. Certified in the AS9100D Quality System, we proactively use the AS9100 quality system to improve efficiency and quality, while reducing downtime and waste. Quality is our number one priority, while strongly emphasizing on time deliveries.

COMPANY HISTORY

1978

Humble beginnings

Pace Machine & Tool, Inc. was established in 1978 in Jupiter, Florida. For many years the company thrived and grew, working for such well known industrial giants as Motorola Corporation, to include their manufacturing plants all over the world, from Boynton Beach, Fl., to Puerto Rico to Scotland.
1990

The 90s

In the 90’s much of the commercial manufacturing was transferred overseas and Pace began manufacturing precision parts and prototype work for local Aero Space/Defense suppliers like Lockheed Martin Naval Sea Systems in Riviera Beach, Fl., Pratt Whitney, Sikorsky, Florida Turbine Technologies, and General Dynamics.

Our work force has been greatly enhanced by the addition of 3 & 4-axis CNC mills, and CNC lathes. Still in high demand by our customers, is precision grinding and precision Jig Bore & Jig Grinding, a vanishing skill.

The adaptation of AS9100 Rev D and ISO:2015 quality certification has earned Pace Machine a place in the Oasis data base where anyone seeking precision manufacturing can find us and feel confident in our ability to satisfy their manufacturing requirements.

2014

New Location

After 35 years in Jupiter, Pace Machine chose a new location in Stuart commercial park, on Kanner Highway in 2014.

Customer care is a priority; giving the customer what he asked for on time is our goal. We learned early that if we consistently produce quality work and deliver on time, the customer will keep coming back. Our philosophy has always been quality first. Many tool makers have worked for Pace Machine over the years, and retired from here. Pace has proved the test of time

Took over as President/Owner in 2009 when Richard Dirr retired. Ex-military, with 3 years active duty and 10 years with the Department of Defense. Responsible for Contract review and Quality Certification for the company.

Started at Pace Machine in 1978. Responsible for quoting and overseeing daily operations.

John started in 2013. Responsible for Shop Floor Supervision of all machinists, programming, scheduling, and material requisitions as well as on time deliveries.
